Lap belts.

Hi, just got some lap belts for the rear of my caravelle. Are they supposed to lock when pulled sharply? like the front ones do. The ones i have dont seem to stay in position ie. you can keep pulling the belt through.

The ones in our old GL (as out the factory) used to alow you to pull them out freely and would then tighten with a ratchet action when let in. When they had retracted almost back to the real the ratchet would release and you could extend them again. Worked alright but unlike ineretia reals did have the iritation on long jeurnys that if you figited too much they'd get quite tight so you'd have to release and refit the again.
