Where to get a replacement filler cap?

Post by venividivici »

I finally got myself a van - an 86 Westfalia Club Joker, which I bought in Hamburg. I've only had it for a couple of months and done about 3500 miles, including 3 weeks going up from Holland to Norway.

Today, I stupidly managed to lose the drinking water filler cap. It's a lockable one, a black thing, which goes in and twists. Somehow, I didn't lock it, and it must have fallen out onto the road. :(

Could someone tell me where I could get a replacement, preferably with 2 keys? I've looked on gowesty.com, but the US ones seem to be different. Is there an OEM Westfalia supplier in Uk or Germany that would have one?

Thanks!

John

They are a standard type, used on most motorhomes and campers. Try Rainbow Conversions or Caktanks, they both do parts that you want, about £15.00 for the complete unit
Keep it real.

Just wanted to say thanks very much to maximus and West.Club.Joker.

I had looked at gunzl, but couldn't see anything that looked right in the T3 section. Now I know it's a standard part, no problem! :D
