on one side of the seat near the runner there is a little hook type lever which you have to lift when running the seat forward and it will just slide out for you

As Jason K says but they'll only slide off (backwards) if someones already removed them before because i found that you have to bend upwards the 2 flattened peices on the runners at the very rear .

 slide the seats as far forward as you can using the slider lever, whenit's all the way look at the back of the runners and there is a little, hook type thing on a spring, use a screw driver to lift it up and at the same time slide the seat furter forward, you should then be able to remove the seat forwards!

you do not need to physically alter any of the runners to remove the seat!
