Combined CB/Stereo aerial setup

Looking for a double bracket or combined aerial adapter for my CB radio and car stereo.

Any ideas?

seen one on ebay lets you use your car aerial as a cb aerial but i can't see it having much range if it doesn't doo what he says!^^^^

dont do it!! a cb operates at a vastly different wavelength than vhf, 1 it wont work, 2 you will destroy output trannies like theyre going out of style.

You can get a specific dual purpose antennae for CB/Car radio use!!

or use a splitter box......

don't waste your time with a so called splitter..... it won't be worth a toss.....

a cb antenna hbas an electrical length of a bout 9ft and a broadcast wireless antenna is electrically about 3ft so the harmonics don't match...... a proper duplexer , if you were to make one would work, but its a big compramise that wouldn't be via ble

I used one on my minivans moonraker in the late 70's and I had no probs on radio AM or FM channels and the SWR was below 1.5

i'm with m0cki on this one, couple your radio to a proper radio aerial mounted in the pillar and put your cb aerial on a gutter mount.
one aerial will not work properly for both

the splitter is a complete load of rubbish as it means you cant listen to your stereo and cb at the same time, and the little rubber effort wont work on your cb, or if it does your stereo will be crap.
would you put a car radio aerial on your telly and expect good reception?

all aerials are frequency specific and fm stereo is miles higher frequency than cb.
up to you obviosly but keep em seperate and they'll work properly.
