Registering a German van

I have bought a van at Vanfest and i need to know the procedure eg
Do i get MOT first then ????

Yes you've got to get it MOT'd before attempting to register it.

Do you have the green farhzeugbrief(German log book)?...if not you've got problems.

There's loads of info on here and on the Brickyard regarding registering imported vans....do a search.

i drove mine back from berlin (no TUV no AU no SCHIEN, nothing) got it mot`d it took the mot and reciept etc to edward st b/ham (dvla) they got in touch with the german authorities, paid my £38 plus 12 tax, within the hour i was out of there. not a problem
