Heating tubes, from the heat exchangers

Post by veedubtub »

Hello,
I have no heating in my 2L Aircooled, there is nothing connecting the ends of the heat exchangers (that point to the front of the bus) to the Y shape pipe that carries the hot air to the front of the bus. There's a gap of about 12" from each exchanger to their respective endof the pipe.
I've tried "botching it" with some alluminium flexipipe and jubilee clips -
but this stunk so bad of burning alluminium that i had to open the window and hence got even colder. So i'm going to try and get the proper part.

does anyone know what do i need to get, is it just a tube? and where can i get it from?

cheers,
James.

Take a look at JKs listings - the pic shows the control pod as well : Make sure you are sitting down and in a happy place before you look at the prices!!
