Window sizes

Post by westyguesty »

I picked up a new window for my westy while at vanfest to replace my sliding window someone broke a few weeks earlier. Went for a double glazed one, but it doesn't fit
Are there two different sizes, it's the right size for the opposite side, but the one in the sliding door is about 2 inches smaller. Are all the sliding windows smaller, or did they change them :?:

Thanks, and has anyone got one spare ?

Early doors had the larger size window (same as opp. panel), later ones are slightly shorter. The other obvious difference is the handle.
Syncrosport (taking a break as of summer 2024)

also windows from factory window busses are a different size (normally smaller) to converted panel van windows.
check the rubbers.
conversion ones sit proud of the bodywork , factory window rubbers are flush.
