2WD Rear Spring v Syncro Springs
Are 2WD rear springs shorter than the syncro ones?
I ask the question as I've just fitted syncro rear springs to my T4 syncro which resulted in an approx 85mm lift which I think is a little too much. The near side CVs should be OK (long driveshaft) but the off side (shorter driveshaft) looks a little acute although I have reduced that a tad by fitting 20mm spacers to the diff.

I am beginning to think Doug's doka is a similar to Clive's Tigger... seen only once or twice at events, and then gone, only ever spoken about as a "project"... DO either REALLY exist anymore...

I'm too busy pushing back the frontiers of off-roadability with my T4!
The trouble is that I keep talking to people who give my new ideas of how to improve my DOKA even more which has an adverse effect on the completion date.
After the Peak District I shall sit down and compile a definitive list of things to do, with dates.
I have promised myself it shall be up and running for the first Syncronauts event in 2008!
