VW Syncro Rear Wheel Carrier - not a naff made up thingie

Post by syncropaddy »

Testing the water here ....

I have an almost genuine, almost complete VW Syncro Rear Wheel Carrier which is surplus to requirements and Im going to put it up on E Bay soon but thought I should offer it here first.

Almost complete means that I dont have the pieces that are used to strengten the bodywork where it mounts or the rubber buffer on the lock. I also dont have the tyre cover although there is one on E Bay.de at the moment

Almost genuine means that the two hinges are reproductions in aluminium, the lock open lever and bracket are reproductions and the nuts to hold the wheel on are standard nuts. The rest is genuine VW

Is that clear? ...... good!

Now these units are not very common as we all know and are rarely seen on e bay or anywhere else for that matter so I will be looking for proper money for it.

Is anyone interested?

Oy, I got one of them! Holds the wheel safely and securely...what more do you want...

To be fair, its not even on the same planet compared to the Original VW one, which is a work of art.
