16 inch !!

(men usually loose all their sense when they start talking inches :D :D :D )

I'm happy though ...If somebody is willing to pay 8 for that, then my rust free 14" must be worth at least 6 (with two difflocks)

Hey ...I'm in profit already !
Must relaese some equity

holy crap - if that sells for 8 grand I think we'd all better re-insure our syncro's for a lot more......

good luck to the boy if he can get it!
You only need two tools in life - WD-40 and Duct Tape; If it doesn't move and should, use the WD-40. If it shouldn't move and does, use the duct tape.

Claims its been undersealed inside and out. Must have forgotten to do underneath cuz I cant see any!! Maybe its under that rust!! Crappy interior and no rear wiper/syncro badge and a front suspension rebuild on the way!! Eberspacher heater is in a box - hmmmmmm

Im glad I only paid €5000 for my complete and fully working Multivan with a VW tyre carrier and nothing in a box!!!

By his reckoning mine might be worth €15000 when its finished!!

Yeh paddy!

Imagine mine with camping interior... when it'll be okay (okay means some paint, and some minor "things") then I will sell it for at least 14k €!

Hope that bidding gets stuck in the right price... I think more or less 3000 pounds... (just to say something because things have to be seen where the van is) 8)

It's actually an amazingly clean van.

Until you have seen it in the flesh I would be tempted to keep your daft comments to yourself.

RE: to "unusal place for rust" comment, it's actually a really common place for rust for vehicles from this area as it is caused by gravel being thrown up from the front wheels, (gravel that is put on the road instead of salt!)

I would rather see this picture of a slightly rusty area on a glavanised panel as opposed to a UK van covered in underseal hiding the usual nasties that that UK vans are riddled with.

If you knew the owner (as I do, personally) you would realise what a good van this is, as he show proper attention to datail that is ofter lacking in other "enthusiasts"

I've seen it. It is very very straight. Rather lovely. But I'm still glad I got my 16" ex ambulance!!! She rocks!

Well ...seenashow you want to get into semantics ...not everybody here drives vans from beyond the polar circle where gravel roads are commonplace, hence I believe it is fair to call corrosion caused by such roads "unusual".

Anyhow ..I don't care, it's not my 8k sterling 8)

Plenty of UK vans corrode in the same place, this problem is not unique to Nordic vehicles, they just seem to be more noticeable.

Ever seen owt from Scotland, now they suck.

Until you have seen this vehicle, travelled in it and worked on it I suggest you keep your potentially damaging comments to yourself.

This Combi is not your average rusty UK T3, and the price reflects this.
