The wires are hooked up now,(err...slight oversight when refitting the steering column-left brake and clutch switches disconnected! )

The ecu also has a red/blk wire that reads "brake light switch".I've got this wire going to the rear brake light '+' wire itself.-I don't know if thats a bad idea?

If you need to get the brake pedal and brake light signals to agree, can they both be connected together(is that what the dual switch does)?-Why do they need to agree anyway?

Cheers.

The dual switch is like a double safe thing, its more important for cars with stability control.

I would wire the switch circuit through a relay for simplicity and fit a bulb inline, the ecu needs to see an current draw.

Ok,well as the brake light wire from ecu was plumbed to the rear light originally(my fault),we thought we'd wire the brake light switch (on the servo)through a relay to switch the brake pedal switch at same time-thinking we could fool the ecu into believing that they were set up to switch at same time, but no it keeps refreshing the "brake pedal circuit implausible signal" fault code. :?

Over the weekend I'll put a meter down the brake pedal wires to check theres no prob in the wiring,--if I get time.....(I've just tweeked me fuel up a bit more and shes going nicely with the AFN injectors, and I can't stop driving about :D )
