No, conditions haven't changed, same fuel, same pump, same distances, same weather.

I don't drive very much, though. 10 km to work and back along country lanes, shopping into town once a week and the odd small trip at weekends.

One tank lasts about 5 weeks :D

On the last filling I put up some more dual carriageway kilometers than on the previous one (as the cat had a daily vet visit for the week) ..so that could explain the improvement (or not). Also, I said above, brimming a syncro is a bit hit and miss. So ..the previous high values could also have been wrong.

In short ..I can't guarantee any reduction as this isn't a scientific experiment.

What I can say is that the engine sounds a lot "happier" and that alone does it for me.

BTW ..2-stroke oil (as opposed to engine oil) is designed to burn off rather cleanly and with the small amount of it in the mix I haven't noticed any difference in the exhaust, certainly no oily smell or fumes.

 I know what 2 smoke is supposed to do... I have bikes too...
Thats why I said it might "clean" the engine a bit as its has to burn clean and not leave deposits of ash, tar and gum..

The duel carraige way will have made that improvement...

only way to know is to monitor it for a long time...
