Brake warning light

Hi all, could anyone advise me about the brake warning light on the dash. Sudenly its dacided to stay on. I thougt it was the switch at lever but i cant see anything wrong. Brakes are all fine, Just freed of a sticky piston at caliper, noticed the rubber was split, but have i broke something at wheel, or is it more likley to be swich.?? Rick.

Check the brake fluid level, if you've lost some fluid when fixing the caliper, it more than likely needs topping up.

Checked brake fluid , and and its fine, disconected wire at handbrake, and its still staying on, Bus brakes in a strait line,cant see any leaks, got me beat :?
