what size battery ?

Hi - what size battery should a 1.6 d have fitted ? and what are the cold cranking amps ? I still have major problems starting but as yet cannot pinpoint problem, but im wondering if the battery i hve fitted is underpowered, allthough it had no problems last winter

don't know the correct size but i'd measure the space you have where the battery fits (usually under driver;s seat) and go to costco!!! see what the biggest you can get iss! i think they have moved the batteries out side to the tyre bay!!!

the battery on my 1.6td is in the engine compartment.so i assume yours is there as well.you need a high ampage battery for diesels.i cant remember the ampage of mine but will have a look tomorrow.....
