my 2.1 doesn't run too bad on gas but when its on petrol and I'm coasting (take my foot off the accelerator) its lumpy and starts to judder almost a mild form of when you see learners kangarooing down the road.
Ive tried to ignore it but while in Cornwall last week when LPG was scarce i had to run it on petrol and it was really annoying. its been tampered with by someone at one point and I'm just wondering if someone may be able to give me a few pointers as to sort this out.

Hi Jed,
John's 2.1 don't really like the petrol either, and the camper (1.9) kept cutting out at low revs, idle.... Both running on carbs - no injection on 2.1
Haven't resolved John's issue yet....as it will run without kangarooing, but is lumpy. The camper we just tweaked the idle on, and it runs lovely, just a bit rich.
The other installation is quite happy on either.....went on fine first time (was transferred from my old caravelle) and behaves lovely)
