Got a wee problem with this at the mo--if someone could take a picture that shows all the electrical connections i'd be grateful. Someone might have a spare knocking around or something. It's the location of the red/black 12v from ignition wire with plastic clip i'm intersested in - snapped off the tab you see.

there are usually two tabs on the back of the solenoid just in case one snaps off!

On a petrol starter there's the 2 spade terminals (as Dave say's) for the signal wire and an M8 stud (13mm spanner for the nut) for the thick feed wire.

Dunno owt about diesels ... and intend to keep it that way :lol:

Thanks guys - i think i'll need to tow it somewhere safe and just get the whole thing off for a proper look. I think they may both have gone..... :?
