There are no specific systems available and I think any beetle/bay ones dont fit without a lot of trouble either... the only one that was available was the vw system.. but 2 flavours and one is now obsolete.. the other may not be available for much longer either..
Check with GSF as they did have some parts.. JK my be able to help also..

I've seen a few t25's with what I assume would be 'T4' engine style exhausts on them, but never had much chance to have a look up close to see how well it fits. I imagine you could use J tubes and a low-slung system but you'd loose your heater. I have a Water cooled model and I made a new rear exhaust section from the 'manifold' pipes back, that was easy enough if you only need a new silencer..

''T4''??? Exhaust wouldn't fit very well on a T25 as a T4 is a front engined water cooled van. T4 = Transporter 4.

The Type 4 air cooled engine originally used on the VW 411/412 fastbacks & variants 1968-75 was 1700cc/1800cc. It was upgraded to 2.0l & used in very late Bays & early T25s.

By type 4 I refer to the engine rather than the van, should have been more specific.
I imagine that that exhaust ports of the A\C T25 would be same or similar to a T4 (engine) in both size and position, so another Air cooled exhaust may fit and if it was designed to fit a T3 (car) or a T2 Bay it may be possible to get a 'noisy' exhaust to fit as they have relatively restricting valances much like the T25. Make sense?
Me? I just did this..

The 2L type 25 engine is slightly different to the type 4 and Bay 1.7- 2L engines.. it had square exhaust ports and the tinware is a lot different..
The silecer is the same though.. as it is for early 1.9 wbx.. but this is all totally different to the 1.6 Aircooled engine..
As said the 1600 wont take a beetle/Bay system without a good bit of work.. there are other factors too..

Umgum, i also have a 1600 and had trouble fitting a new exhaust so beware. The trouble was thet the old one had push fit connectors and the new had flange connectors. Apparantly vw mad my exhasut for 6 months and you cannto get them for lon nor money now. I had to buy a heat transfer pod for the nearside and a double ended flange connector for the off side, these additional parts cost approx £100 from JK.
If you click the link you can see the difference between the old and the new. I must say with the new stock exhaust it purrs beautifully.
