eber fuel tank

Does anyone have a seperate fuel tank on there van for the eber??

If so whats the difference in this or tapping into your fuel line??

Oh and can you buy em?? I have tons of room under my westy now the old massive eber has gone.

I use a seperate tank for mine. You can tap into the fuel line but its not adviseable as you might use the fuel in the main tank a bit too much! Some systems have a seperate float in the tank and only let you use so much fuel so you still have some in there. Personally i'd go for a seperate tank but thats the only reason why really.

Ahh, I didnt! I made mine (well, sort of). I made up the tank in allloy and got a friend at wort to weld it. Cheating I know but it fits and it works! Went to a Bug-jam recently and saw some there but not too sure where else you can get them. Hopefully someone else will know!

most of us with diesel ebber and petrol vans have a petrol can sat in the spare wheel.and tap into this....on my old diesel.i just put a t piece on the fuel line...

just make sure you don't tap into the return pipe....

mmm I will be going into this blind Rob, might go for own tank then.

There's plenty of room under the van for its own tank when i removed the old massive petrol westy.

All ive got to find now is control switch and wireing loom from eber to switch/pump.
