Can't be specific, but as peeps do it frorm time to time, can't see a problem finding an insurer.. Insure it as a camper to start with maybe ?

When I bought my Syncro it was an empty van and I insured through Adrian Flux. The insurance is actually with Equity Red Star and cost me about £200 TPFT in central Birmingham with no no-claims bonus. It was insured from the get-go as a camper on the condition that it was converted within 6 months. I suspect that other brokers, like HIC/JK, could help you find someone to do cover this too.
