Who makes new front prop shafts for a syncro?

Post by syncro up »

So the old dear needs a new prop shaft and some work on the VC, virbrating badly just now.

Syncro Nutz have suggested there is someone out there that makes replacement prop shafts at a fraction of the VW price.

Can anyone tell me who this magical company is and how i can get ahold of one?

Its would also be great to hear from anyone who has fitted there parts and how they're perfoming.

Many thanks.
Alastair

It's the rebalancing that costs the dosh after replacement UJs...

Can cost as much as new GKN shaft

If the VC's seals have burst and lost its oil, that won't help balance in the driveline, neither will the diff input bearings if they're even slightly worn. Start with the prop though..

That sounds the business. I'll try GKN and see what they are saying.
