buying my first awning

hi all i am looking to buy my first awning

i have narrowed it down to these two

so which one would you choose

i have the royal traveller and it is great. probably lighter than the first one you mention as it hasn't got steel poles. Its held up to THE weather quite well to, and it pretty easy to pack away.

I got two awnings you can have for free

NR Awnings Metal pole type...seem to be in good nick canvas wise....poles appear a little worn and no pegs

Glad to here that you & Alex are getting along well with the Royal Traveller tunnel awning.

It does need two peeps to put the awning up & pack it away again, that's why I couldn't cope with it on my own.

I thought I recognized your roof. Mine can be seen in Parliament Street opposite the public car park

We have got a Royal Traveller - which is unused and still in its box.

It turned up yesterday after being delivered to the wrong address 6 weeks ago!!

But in the meantime we bought a Nomad 3.

If anyway wants it, its here and can be yours for the £130.

Collection only though - no longer trust delivery companies!!

I'm looking at a royal traveller myself, but has anybody got the JK 2007 Spacemaker? Massive price difference there, but I don't know enough about the specs to make an proper informed choice. Hayulp!?

i have the JK spacemaker
it is pretty solid- survived gales in the lakes but takes some time to put up~ 45mins on your own and is quite big and bulky when packed down. a bit of a bummer when you arrive somewhere and would rather just sit down with a beer. however lots of space and well designed
