Regassing a fridge ?
Is it possible ? Do people do it ? Who ?
I took my fridge out, turned it upside down and shook it around a bit and the fridge worked really well for a week - now its not working again.
I need to re-gas it or get a new fridge.....
Thanks
Ringo

If you have a fridge which works off more than one power source (eg gas and 12 volt) you cannot get it re gassed,it is a sealed system.
You can get a new cooling unit (the pipework)for some electrolux models , normally about half the price of a new fridge.
If your fridge runs on 12 volts only, it will be a compressor type of fridge and air con or refidgeration people may be able to regass it.
