Big lumps of metals and spanners.

Fitting accelerator cable on 1990 T25

Post by FLINTS »

Anyone know how to re-fit the accelerator on a 1990 1.9 T25?

I bought some new cab matts over the weekend & tried to fit them neatly around the accelerator pedal, however when I lifted the pedal the accelerator bar also came out. Does anyone know if this is a quick fix to reconnect?

Thanks in advance
Lee

The bar is attached to the cranked link which pulls the cable itself. The bar is a push-fit onto the back of the pedal.

Where the pedal is rivetted to the floor fatigues and cracks, eventually the pedal can break, they're relatively cheap off Just Kampers ... did our's last year.
