hi front suspention

Post by chopperclarksley »

hi there, im a bit concerned about the front suspention of my german imported westie , its about 50mm higher at the front than the back and this is causing the wheels to camber in at the top. has any one come across this before? im wandering if for some reason syncro springs have been put on the front or maybe the rear springs have saged .any ideas/solutions much appretiated.

As a guide, the top wishbones should be near horizontal... well, close if they are tilting down, then its possible someone has fitted stiffer springs... but syncro ones they cannot be.. syncro front springs are shorter.. or you have lowered/broken springs at the back..

Many of them look higher at the front when parked but with two adults in the front seats they drop a fair bit.
