My westy hookup socket on the outside of my german imported Joker is a male 2 pin socket!!! Anyone know if you can get an adapter so I can plug into the 3 pin type in the uk? Could change the socket on the van but would make life easier to use and adapter?
Ta
Neil.

Yeah, been to a few already today and they can't help.. I'll try a few more but not looking good... May have to change the socket but that means cutting a bigger hole in the side of my van!!!

Hi Neil
I don't know where you can get the cable ready made but I know you can get German Sockets on Ebay. http://www.ebay.de
Just search for "Schutzkontakt"
I know assumption is the mother of all fups. I have assumed that westys use standard german plugs/sockets as below.
If this is wrong im sure some one will sort me out.

I would suggest just swapping the outer socket and plug for the correct type, cheap to buy and easy to do.
Try here, look in electrical section, general electrics, scroll half way down the page, both types are pictures (square with fixed plug or retangular with swing-out blue blug)

Keep it real.
