Alternator amp

Hi evertbody, I'm trying to work out how many amp's my alternator is giving so I can change vee belt. I have taken alternator off and read all the digits and letters on the back (no black box), but it does have a round black plastic disc but none of the writing seems to relate to how many amps. The engine is 1986 watercooled 2.0lt petrol. Thanks for any help.

Usual standard fit altys were 65 amp.
