Gearboxes going obsolete from VW

Post by Aidan »

I've tried ordering a couple of different ones from VW and each time they show as available then go obsolete after a couple or five days, which is a shame cos some of them look really good value for money, but maybe the rumours that the stock has been sold on are true.
Two of the internal parts have also gone obsolete from VW and I have sourced one of them from the states and am trying numerous sources for the other including the manufacturer direct. At the moment I have stock, but for how long I don't know. I bought the last stock in the uk and someone else tried to buy it off my dealer yesterday, fortunately I had already collected it !

go on order it, it won't come I'm sure, but until we order them they don't seem to be bothered keeping the inventory upto date. I know they had AAN's sat on the shelf in germany less than twelve months ago, but now no more, I think Mr Yaeger may be holding.....so they won't be cheap in the future
