wrap around lower grille fitting

Post by Poseidon »

I have just got the JK wrap around lower grille. It's proving to be a bit of a pain to fit as I can't get the alignment for the black push in clips to fit...

Anyone have any tips for this?

I put one on my van a while back and it wnet on without any hassle. Have you taken out the indicators first? The screws for the indicators go through the holes in the side of the grille as well, so do them up first to hold it in place but just loosely, then push the little clips into the holes and put the screws through them.

Yep, the indicators are out, I've managed to get one clip in... I was trying to fit it after 6hrs of working on the van and also it was getting dark, so hopefully I'll have a little more luck later this afternoon!

All sorted, after a bit of swearing and some good ole making do with some bits lying about I have managed to get the lower grille to fit!
