May be an air leak on your intake manifold. Check all nuts etc. are tightened down ok on that cylinder and that the gaskets are in good nick. May be an idea to get some carb. cleaner and spray it around the manifold. If there is an air leak there somewhere, the engine will pick up speed and you'll know where the leak is.

The carb is held on the manifold by 3 nuts on very long studs into the manifold.. remove the air intake off the top and you will see the nuts on the top..
But full throttle problems most likely is crap/water in the carb.. would be worth cleaning it out.. (Pete "headly18 can do this if you dont have the skills...
Air leaks on the vac hoses etc can all add to poor running conditions.. the carb has several little pipes that MUST be in good nick and working correctly...
