New 2.0 air cooled carbs

Post by Gunslinger »

Can anyone recommend a supplier for these.
It is currently fitted with twin solex carbs.
I've replaced them with some 2nd hand ones and they are no better. I can get them overhauled so they will be good as new but its going to take around 5-6 weeks and I wanted to get it done sooner.

Any help would be great.
Thanks
Stuart

type 2 dertectives are selling recon solex for the type 3 s they work on (ie notch and fast backs NOT wedges!!)
alternativley fit some delortos!!! a pair of 36mm or 40mm drlas will do the trick quite nicley.
i had mine set at
www.raceshack.co.uk
give them a bell and they can fill you in on what you need to do , or drop me a pm.
the result with these carbs is more power more torque and more mpg!!!
