Haynes manual for VW Caravelle..

Post by chano »

I had a Haynes manual in the eightees for a Ford Escort - are they still available? Or are there any other manuals available for DIY enthusiats (enthusiastic, but mechanically challenged)?

The vehivle in question is a 1990 (LHD) Caravelle 2.1 petrol. I may need to change the fuel pump and filter very soon and need some help.

Thanks in advance

Alan

you can still get em but there pretty useless unless you can get urself an old edition (as in chapters not sections like the new style) as these tend to have a bit more information where the new ones tend to keep referring and cross refferanceing with section 3.1 3.2 3.4 etc etc?
everytime you masterbate god kills a kitten! member 1289 does this still mean owt?

The haynes manual is ok-cos unless you spend loads on a Bently manual theres really nought else---if your in the Canaries, chano I'm sure you can order one from Haynes or possibly Amazon mail order-the title is--VW Transporter 1982 to 1990 (up to H reg) Petrol--
Billy...Defected to white box but still lurking.

The link Mudlark posted is Bently Manual, which is far superior to the Haynes manual. However, if you still want a haynes one as well, I have one here in very good condition that you can have cheap. Depending where you are, I may also be able to deliver it this weekend.
Cheers,
Sam.
