Diesel pump solonoid wire anti theft hidden switch

Wanting to break into the diesel fuel pump solonoid volts supply wire.Can anyone advice me if the wire is from the fuse box if so where?.I want to put a switch in series to the wire and hide it as a anti theft device

why dont you just tap in to the black shut off wire on the pump,put a switch in the rear bed compartment area?

Mmm i guess that would make it easier.But it would be handy to have the switch near the dash when the ignition is turned off.

Trouble is, where do you put the switch ?

If you do it make damn sure it`s foolproof and can`t fall off/short/come loose/whatever or you could find yourself overtaking a truck and then the engine dies suddenly :shock:

Immobilisers nowadays are usually wired into the starter circuit so avoid problems like that. How about talking the wire from the starter motor that fits onto small spade terminal and switch that, even use one of those red plastic battery isolators so you can remove the key altogether?

Thinking about it, my 1Y has got a few wires hanging around that apparently were used for the immobiliser - can't find any information about them though...

Wires go to the back of the Fuse board. Forget which colour (white rings a bell). I know as I wired the alarm into it.

I took westy.club.jokers advice in the end .Wired it to the starter motor fail safe hopefully thanks.
