Getting rid of old engine oil (useful website)

Post by Nicola&Tony »

Found this website about where to get rid of old engine oil after doing an oil change. If it's worth adding it to the relevant section of Wiki would someone please do so, because I don't know how to!!

Your local Council recycling centre (the place they used to call the tip) should have an oil bank for disposal of used oils.
Keep it real.

Not all of them do though.

Wish the basta that dumped 2 drums of oil next to my house had seen this.....just had to call the council to come and remove it and clean up....it's spread everywhere with all the rain. give them respect though, they came straight out, damned the oil to stop it spreading, then came the clean up crew with a huge vacuum unit and sucked up all the oil, rainwater an all, they are coming back today with some type of cleansing agent.

Thanks for the link btw
