Lining carpet

Post by edmundator »

Any advice on a place to buy lining carpet for covering walls/door panels etc. would be most welcome.

Ideally somewhere near birmingham that I can drive to or somewhere that will guarantee quick (next-day) delivery.

Thanks, Ed

Many of the van converters will sell these materials. Or, try Martrim at Sandbach (01270 767771). Or Rainbow Conversions. Or CMC Reimo at Hythe. I have not used them but they did send me some samples.

These are OK if you want darker or subtler shades. I am also looking for trim carpet but I want bright colours which seem harder to find.

Does anyone else know any sources of bright colours?

Two firms recommended regularly on this forum are:-

WOOLIES (I. & C. Woolstenholmes Ltd.) Whitley Way, Northfields Industrial Estate, Market Deeping, Peterborough, PE6 8AR.
Tel: 01778 347347 Email;info@woolies-trim.co.uk

H.R & C.P. Woods??? Not sure about the initials - helpful people - It's a father & son operation in W.Yorkshire in either Halifax or Huddersfield.
I've tried a Google search & a search of posts on 80-90 by HarryMann but I can't find a thing about them. They do exist...yes really! :D
