worn injector pump?

i have a problem with vibration/hunting? at 1100rpm[ish].the pump drive shaft has a bit of up and down play[radial play].what overhaul kits have people used, or should i replace the pump,the van pulls well[this is the only one ive driven though]. advice please.

Dave , you mad sod I would have to agree summat doesn't sound right if you have XS play in any pump spindles/belts or other associated parts of the Diesel fuel system.

For us here in Blighty we would simply have the afore mentioned pump overhalled at at our local Dephi (formally Lucas) Diesel injection specialists which would cost about 90 quid with Vat.

The thing is if you are having problems, you have to ellininate the obvious before the guessing game begins....

Hi Fritz,mad sod ? oh yes we lived in Westhead for a year [ish] while my wife did her teachers training.i've got the chance of a complete jx engine [100 to 200euros],also i found out
where to get the pump re-conned.
