thanks for the quick reply Kev

Why would 60's be better?
I know it would effect the gearing but that would be an advantage as my van has a 1.9d engine with a 1.6d gear box and is currently reving it nuts off!

cheers

:) is your 1.6d box a 4 speed if so would be a good idea to try and find a 2.0L or 1.9L 4 speed i know a 5 speed would be best ,,, but the 4S box's normaly a bit cheaper ,,, you would just need to swap input shaft and bellhousing :D

hi Phil

I have got a replacement box ready to go in with lower gearing which has just come out of a van with an AEF engine (same as mine) so already has the bellhousing and input shaft :D

Just thinking about changing my tyres to commercial one as it a hightop camper which must be pretty heavy with all my surfboard and stuff in

cheers

215 is narrow on an 8J rim, I`ve got 215 tyres on a 7J rim and they are only just wide enough, 235 I would say.
Keep it real.

That what I was worried about, I currently have 225 on but wanted to check
as the tyre bloke would probably tell me owt as long as I was going to buy some tyres!
