Next up is alloys, the currect ones really let the van down.
All windows except the front screen will be tinted.
I'll getting a central locking system and electric windows installed.
Then it will be time to fit out the interior!!!

Thanks. Was only asking as I'm planning to pull our interior out and insulate it better... both for heat and sound. That looks like it would be good for both.

lloyd,

got the van back today, it looks like a stronger version of tinfoil.

most of it is ripped from the body repairs so i'll be taking the rest out and replaceing it with something else. again i want good insulation for sound and heat.

I've read that B&Q sells something that is like roll roofing with sticky on one side and foil on other... and it works a treat for sound/heat insulation. I'll try and find the thread and post it for you.

I see you fitted the fake seem type rear arch panel, did you then build the inner sections of the arch to it?? (think you must have as saw weld spots on the pic showing the panel fitted

i was thinking of doing this to my bus but wasnt sure if to use the arch olny tupe panel or full panels..
WHY T3's.... because they are just so adictive, and having one just aint enough

finally getting back to this.

unfortunately the van has been sitting for the last few months due to family and work commitments but in the next few weeks i'll be finishing it

Jobs to do:
Fit under slung gas tank
Fit under slung water tank
Install westy fright and cooker unit
Wire the van.
Line with carpet
Fit swivel seat to passenger seat.
And fit an oil leak from the oil filter!
Oh and finally fit a few curtains!!

Since I last updated ye i have lined out the interior in light weight ply and fitted a rock and roll bed. I has also put on some nice alu side steps

I'm still looking for a nice set of alloys for her.
