Its a mystery! can any one tell me why when after fitting s new speedo cable does the speedometer needle waver about flickering to the left and the right, any solutions anyone??

Disconnect the speedo end of the cable and run 3-in-1 down it (like we used to do with the old bike cables using a plasticene funnel

). As has been said, also check the drive end's located correctly.
