there is nothing you could buy to replace it.

do you know why it was taken off the road yet?

I bought it as a project to get it on the road and was always thinking of selling when done. Ive got other projects that need cash.

It's a lovely vehicle but im never going to use it to it's full or enjoy it as much as maybe others would.

As far as i can tell, it was taken off the road for really no reason at all  The guy who owned it before me was a little eccentric and had just left it in his field and almost forgot about it  He is getting on now and so was happy to let it go for less than its worth, and although he knew it was rare, didnt realise there are many enthusiasts out there :D

Ive put a month's insurance on it, i may decide to keep it in those 4 weeks :D Just need more space for it!!

Hey syncropaddy!

Well fine, now fixing the engine, installing a new 3K turbo. A very difficult thing because the bolts are very fragile and the engine is very dirty. Todays chapter is buying some petrol and cleaning the area to see better the nightmare...

Those 'fragile' bolts are also very expensive! £13 each

Bolts from turbo took me 1 hour with the very nice help of Mr. WD40 and my patience... The broken bolt is from the exhaust manifold, I am going to change the gaskets...

New gaskets ~ Very good idea... the manifold's studs, washers and nuts are all special to it. Those thick washers and self-locking nuts important... check for distortion first and any cracks at the turbo mating flange. Do them up pretty tight though, often known to come looose.
