Mystery cylinder in van

Post by Poddington »

Not an important question but just wondering if anyone can shed some light...

Bought my van last year and there was a container in it that looks like a fire extinguisher in shape but has no funnel, a square base and though is size of a small extingsuisher weighs about as much as I do!

It has a small hinged bit sticking up from the bottom that looks like a horn and the top is just a a square.

Thinking it may be a bottle jack but cant figure out how to work it

Anyone with any suggestions as to what else it might be?

That would be my guess from the description.
