Fiesta Diesel!!!!!

Post by meggles »

Hello everybody :) Now, this may be the most ridiculous thing you have ever been asked  but! I have been offered for free a Fiesta 1800 diesel with a mint engine :D Will it fit into my 2.0 CU engined camper? Do I use Fiesta or VW box and what about mountings and drive shafts etc etc etc. Coling system can be sorted but it's the other stuff I am not sure about. Anyone done such a conversion? Now please don't laugh, I'm thinking of economy

you will need to put a rad up front, all sorts of pipes, heat sensors, guages, loom rewiring, engine mounts, gearbox conversion kit, all for a poxy 18d fiesta engine :? dont bother. save the £3.000 you would have spent, sell the (free) fiesta and buy a westy california diesel. that way its done for you. plus you will have power steering and heat as standard
