Wing mirrors top tip

Post by j_robi »

Just a tip to help stop your mirrors moving when driving along, normally over 60mph!

Tools Required:
Screwdriver X
10mm Spanner

Parts Required:
Washer(s) for a 6mm bolt

Steps:
1. Remove wing mirror (Screwdriver X)

2. Undo the nut at the bottom of the mirror (10mm Spanner)

3. Place washer(s) under the nut that you have removed

4. Refit the nut (10mm Spanner), making sure its tight

5. Refit the mirror (Screwdriver X)

Hope this helps!

Replaced my standard mirror nuts with Nylock type ones so they don't vibrate loose. Seems to have cured mine :D
