empi//twin tuck away back boxes?????

hey ya all,
ive got myself an Aircooled t25 1600 1980
i have to admit im used to beetles so if this question sounds stupid please dont laugh...

would an empi 4 exit tailpipe or twin tuckaway from a beetle/t2 fit on my camper???

if not then wheres the best place to get an exhaust??
one of theses days it will be finished

No not without modifications.. if the standard system is in good nick dont bother changing..
Unfortunatly your not going to want to hear the next bit..
the 1600 Aircooled "CT" is not very good... and trying to extract more power isnt practical.. if its in good nick maintain it very well and dont drive it too hard..
start saving for a 2L CU engine to swap it out..

what he said!!!
plus even then dont buy empi exhausts. thay are rrrrrruuuubbbish!!!!! they actually rob power over a stock back box (dyno proven on my bus!!) and rot like feck.
save up for a stainless one.

Toomanytoys, What do you mean the 1600 is no good, i have had mine for nearly 3 months and although a bit sluggish has never let me down. :wink:
