When fitting a gas/12v fridge I'm guessing it would be a good idea to build my cabinet with a wooden floor (with a vent hole in it) as oppossed to carpet??
Can anyone confirm this? or is there a more suitable idea?
I did read somewhere that it`s a requiremnt to have a vent in the floor of any gas locker / area with gas fittings in it. Gas being heavier than air will flow down and out rather than build up. Not seen one in the fridge cupboard of my Westy though? Maybe something to think about.
Louey, put what you like under it , just make sure you have a vent/drop out hole under it. devons were carpeted throughout , with drop out holes under the units etc
just a idea i got a autohomes conversion took out the water tank and where the out side filler is i fitted i put a quick release conector so my 7.5 kg is notin side cheaper than 907 seen on a site they do a gas conversion flap
ps anyone want some 907 bottle got three
just be careful of the fuel tank when drillling down! if you are fitting it at the techy weekend, and need a hold cutter or two let me know what sizes you need and i'll lend them to you!
