Techy weekend is in Nottinghamshire.
That may explain the difference in MPG. I tend to drive everywhere at 65-70 as most of my driving nowadays seems to be on the A1. Reckon i get about 28 mpg.

I'm hoping one of you lot may be able to help, just fitted my AEF engine and have two wires for the oil pressure. My old 1.7 had a wire to the end of the block and one onto my oil pump, however my new engine doesn't have a fitting on my oil pump. What should I be doing with this wire / What did you lot do?
Any info would be great
Thanks

Im not sure you mean oil pump - surely that is in the sump ?
What you might mean is the connection near the top of the oil filter housing (i think).
Well, i changed the one off my 1Y for the one off my 1.7d - so the connection is still there.
I could be completely wrong mind.....
