Ibought mine from Stateside tuning already jetted, sorry no idea what size the jets are but they work pretty well although always a bit of a hesitation on pickup but give about same mpg and top speed as the old vw carbs so must be about right. Plugs are always the correct colour .

just rolling road it. most icts ive seen are too jetted far small which = lean which = more heat which = death to an Aircooled motor. spend eighty quid get it set up properly. it will be more powerful and better on petrol.
its much much cheaper than a new motor.

fully agree with jason,, only way to get it right is a proper rolling road.
