So its a transformer what sort of wattage matey
the led wattage is around 1- 4 watts per fitting! you've seen my van, the total consumption is less than a fillament lamp in the interior courtesy lights!
I've used the DIODER range from Ikea.
They come as a set of 4 for around £35. I put 3 across the roof above the table as main lighting, and one at the bed head as a bed light.
They are very good - just the right brightness, and very compact fittings.
As they are all 12V, you can throw the transformer away and connect & switch them how you want.
They also do a cheaper range with some unpronouncable made-up name, but they look it. Have not seen them in use though, but suspect they will be much dimmer, with a colder (bluer) colour.
Labcraft have a good range, they are the main OEM manufacture for most modern caravan/boat builders and a few older ones like Danbury. They stock fluorescent, incandescent, halogen and L.E.D all 12v
