Fridge hose

Post by richard.w »

I have an Electrolux 3 way fridge (model no. RM180H). The outlet hose connecting the fridge to the exterior of the camper is falling apart. For want of a better description it appears to be made from paper wrapped around a metal spiral! Connection is made with hose clips. Any suggestions as to where I can source a replacement, please.

I take it you mean the 'exhaust' pipe? about 1" diameter, if so i bought some flexible metal Propex exhaust from dubfreeze for £1 but you can get it from ebay. Type in 'Propex' and you will find some there.

Apologies for delay, working rubbish shifts at the mom. Now I know the technical term can keep an eye on ebay, probably the caravan stores will have something. Tks again.

Shouldn`t be any paper involved, the pipe gets hot from the burnt gasses. OE tube looks like stainless steel flex stuff.
Keep it real.
