Milton will eat it's way through metal tanks. It's Hypochlorite.
I don't bother with a water tank I just go to the supermarket and get the big square bottled water with handle. easy to refill, chuck at the end.

I use it for the whole of the holiday, then bin it, as by then it's ready to fall apart anyway. Better than polythene as that makes the water taste manky.
Milton isn't environmentally friendly either. You pays yer money and takes yer choice.
