Just been out to the van and noticed some nice fellow van driver (probably the speeding police vans that use our side road as a rat run to avoid a set of traffic lights) has smashed my drivers side glass overnight.
Which type is best for replacing it with? A flat or convex version
Do convex mirrors give you a wider view but make things look further away. Therefore not very good for a drivers side glass?
If convex is better do GSF do convex mirrors as their website lists 2 different priced mirrors for each side for a T25
88220 DOOR MIRROR-LH(BQ) £15.40
88220A DOOR MIRROR-LH £9.25
88221 DOOR MIRROR-RH(BQ) £15.40
88221A DOOR MIRROR-RH £9.25

Convex far superior, flat almost useless IMHO

Many vehicles come with both mirrors convex. My camper is, as are my new syncro/LT mirror heads(not fitted yet). I couldn't understand why I kept backing into things when I first got camperhorace83 wrote:Are they OK for drivers sides though given that they give a flase image of distances?
And do GSF do them?
